Purpledog Rhythms (PdR) is a not-for-profit association of individuals who share a passion for drumming, percussion and the joy of music. With an enthusiasm for African rhythms, the group draws on its collective skills and resources to form a troupe of dedicated players of tribal beats.
PdR's purpose is to share the spirit of African rhythm with the primary aim of raising
money for those in need living in Africa. It is currently focusing on raising
funds for the Nungua Toilet Block Project in Ghana.
You may be assured PdR will put on a sensational show whether it is purely for entertainment or a special event. We tailor our shows to cater for corporate functions, children’s activities, specific celebrations or events. We offer a creative, interactive experience by giving the audience an opportunity to create and play their own rhythms. The results are amazing!
All the administrative and material costs of PdR are fully covered by the group members and its sponsors. And 100% of all performance fees, donations and busking money contributed goes to the projects PdR supports.
